Autumn in New England is very special. 

I've been fortunate to have lived here my whole life, and seeing the highways full of the "leaf peepers" every year makes me understand that it's not a time of year to take for granted.  The landscape comes alive with color, one last hurrah before the nice weather turns cold and snowy.  The occasional lingering warm day reminds us of what was, and frost on the landscape warns us that change is coming. 

I hope that this gallery gives you the same sense of this wonderful time of year.
