What glass is used for framed work?

We use an acrylic for framed work.  It is an excellent replacement for the more traditional glass, and produces a lighter finished product.

What do you use for a camera?

I've been shooting for many years, and made the switch over to digital imagery back in 1999.  Some shots on my site were done with a Nikon 950 (2 megapixel!), Nikon 990, Nikon D80, and so on.  Some shots are done on iPhones of various vintages.  They say that the best camera is the one that you have with you, and it's surely true.  Presently I do most of my shooting with a Sony A7R II.  I'm always happy to geek out with other photographers, so if you want more detail, feel free to drop me a note.

Who is Gladys Rowe Clark?

Gladys is my great Aunt Gladys (1892-1989), who in the early 60's, retired from teaching and decided to tour the world with what she saved as a school teacher.  She took her trusty Argus C3 camera with her everywhere, and shot on Kodachrome exclusively.  In 1980, she took me to England, Wales and Scotland for three weeks.  She had her C3 and I had my first 35mm camera,, a Pentax Spotmatic 500 with 50mm lens.

Aunt Gladys gave me my desire to experience the world.  When she passed, she also left behind a trove of Kodachromes.  I will be putting some of Aunt Gladys' gems into my store from time to time, so that you can see some how she saw the world.

This photo is of Aunt Gladys riding a camel at 70+ years of age.  It was very typical of how she traveled!
