Old Boston, the Union Oyster House is a well known old landmark on Boston, opened for business in 1826, and is among the oldest restaurants in America.  To the right is the Bell in Hand pub, older still, operating since 1795. The harbor used to come right up to the back of these buildings!  In a heavy inter storm, the old narrow cobblestone streets are blanketed with the soft snow, bringing a peaceful silence to the old city.
