The Custom House tower stands as a monument to the trade that Boston Harbor has had for centuries. Built in the mid 1800's, the site marked the early Boston harbor waterfront.  The waterfront is further away now, but the building remains a landmark and beautiful part of not only the waterfront, but also the skyline!
