Montserrat is a short distance from Barcelona, and is home to Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, founded in the 11th century.  Meaning "serrated mountains", Montserrat is way above the valley below, and offers some dramatic views of the surroundings, including Barcelona.  This shot was getting late in the afternoon, and the sun was starting to play downward into the steep mountainside.  I hope that you enjoy this piece!
